It is not banned, do not twist fact, he said one shouldn't emphasize a soul as a buddha, Shugden is not enlightened and in fact a vengfull spirit, in Tibet it is well known, however, for a westerner hard to swallow if you loose "Dalai Lama" as an ex-Shugdenfollower.

Isn't that a great act of H.H. to admit that he was wrong worshipping a spirit, but that was Trichang Rinpoche's fault.
