Author Pamela Meyer asserts that everyday people should be able to detect liars and use anti-deception keys to build trust with others. Particularly valuable for business leaders, LIESPOTTING links three disciplines and outlines a simple 5-step method for spotting and stopping lies told in many different situations - both professional and personal.

Guys, come on, it's a safe bet none of you are qualified liespotters; I bet she isn't lying. I know it's cool to start yelling someone is lying and shout so-called evidence, but did it not occur to anyone she's reading rehearsed text? As in, giving a short presentation, an elevator pitch. You can tell in het TEDTalks video she's not a natural when it comes to public speaking, so ofcourse it will look somewhat awkward. That doesn't mean she's lying, so stop seeing signs everywhere.

detect deception...........thats easy. latin figured this out. person in latin is "persona", defined as "mask". were animals with masks. our entire human premise implies lying on almost every level

she does have an arrogant, entitled, self-absorbed look and her lie spotting advice is to buy her book.....and uses "I" a lot in her language.
