Why are you silent? (Phir Kyon Aaj?)

Ahmedabad was shattered by earthquake in 2001, the people of the city rebuilt it to destroy it once again in 2002. In the communal violence of 2002 the state machinery fully supported the killings of muslims. As a part of the city one poet felt "the city defines me and I define city" so he feels part of the killers. The film is based on his poetry. It talks about the internal guilt of feeling helpless when the rampage was on.
This is special video, as it was the first time i directed. It was made in 2004

yeah, it proves that the riots were created to gain political mileage... and this time there is no mileage to gain.. though i admire people of the city to keep the calm.... and i hope they will do it in future as well.

Well now City is fine n inspite of facingg biggest serial blasts in the history of wrold terrorism...city has maintained peace n harmony...
