A reminder of what the Egyptian Revolution is all about. It's not a political or religious uprise. It started with the Peaceful Youth and will always remain that way. It has always been peaceful from the protesters side.

  • Sitting here in Denmark and watching the news 4 times daily solely for the sake of the news from you people on the Tahrir Square, so much hoping for the best for you all. On my site I try to raise consiousness in the west about your fight.

  • the singer's name is RAMY ESAM, nicknamed the revolution's singer. was arrested and tortured by the military police of the supreme council of armed forces on March 9th, 2001 , after Mubarak stepped down. Unfortunately, people thought the era of Mubarak was gone, however this remains an illusion, as the military council is performing the same acts of torture, and 12000 were arrested, and put on fake mitlitary trials since the army took over control in Egypt. It is uncomplete revolution.

  • I just received an email from a friend who lives in Egypt, which ends with the following anecdote:

I went to the veggies market last Friday, I usually go on Friday anyway, but this time for the first time the merchants stopped selling anything when they heard the call for prayer!!! Most of them left their young kids to watch over the goods and they went to pray. Most of the customers also disappeared and the few like me who were oblivious to the “New Misrstan” had to wander around aimlessly

  • Even If the Middle East revolution give us a bunch of stupidasshit theocrats we need to respect their decision after all that is democracy"the voice of the people"we can only help if those population meet us half way.But no matter what America did the right thing by not propping up those dictaters, even if those societies slide backwards. If they do slide backwards let us not chase after them and legitimize them like we are doing with Al-queda, and our fears of a insignifint numbe of cave dwellers

  • from canada, im with you :-D

  • @UberVersatile & @Kiretrams

Yes we hear on our news (danish) that the military still owns 40% of business, going from hospitals and kindergardens to the more obvious. They need to get rid of all the old guys in the administration.

  • I hope that the people of Egypt will never loose the spirit they fight , real revolutions are hard to do and require a hard soul that must never quit , only after this is done we can talk about a better life

  • This made me cry. Power to the people!!

  • This is beautiful. The people have spoken
