The popular, free file backup based on Gmail, called G-Archiver, has
been found storing user's gmail addresses passwords. The creator of
G-Archiver claimed that it was only debugging code that he had left in
on accident, and has taken down the application so that no one else
can download it. It's suggested that if you have used G-Archiver in
the past, you will need to change your password as soon as possible.

The non-profit organization Takes All Types has worked together with
the Red Cross to create a Facebook application to report on blood

simply install the application, give it your blood type and address

MyLoki is a new webservice from the folks who brought us SkyHook, that
nifty application that gets your GPS coordinates for your iPhone.
MyLoki is a free toolbar for your web browser of choice. If you're
near a wireless hotspot, it simply triangulates your location and then
gives you a map you can embed on your blog, giving your location in
real time.

Dropbox officially moves into private beta this week, giving out
5gb of free storage. Dropbox is an easy to use application to
back up your files across the web and share it with coworkers, or just
access them from anywhere you have internet access. The true benefit
to Dropbox is its ease of use- a simple right-click on a file and you
can share it or back it up.
