FX Royale 500--- 97 Yard Pigeon kill.

If you look closely, you can almost see a slight wobble in the pellet. This was 11.5" below zero. Which is at 50 yards. Typically I see about a 2" or less spread at 100 yards. Which is not great, but will hit a Pigeon, thus protecting America from it's scourge.

I would guess that indoors, no wind, locked in a vise, I could reduce the 100 yard spread to less than an inch. Maybe I'll try it on a calm day, since I don't know of any 100yard warehouses I can shoot in.

I am running into the same thing. Lethally accurate to 50 yards, acceptable to 70 (1 inch on a good day), opens up badly somewhere between 70 and 100 yards... 2.6 inch groups at 100. Wondering if I should try another pellet (like JSB exact 15.9 grains instead of the 18.1's I am using now).

@lasourisaboyante I don't think 2" or even 2.6" at 100 yards is bad at all for a pellet. But I havn't really shot any groups at 100. Just pigeons and acorns.
