@HowTuiteDoes Western nations have the lowest birth rates on the planet. We're dropping in population if you don't include massive immigration to the West.

@Mikem22222 Are you kidding? The West has fertility rates BELOW the amount needed to just keep the same population. Some countries in Europe are dropping in population like Russia, Belarus, Estonia, etc. It's not us that's overpopulating this planet.
Africa went from 100 million in early 1900's to over 1 billion in modern times. And it's still growing extremely fast.

I know I might sound harsh saying this but I would suggest a 1 child rule until that child is 25 and then you can have another child.

Also, when a male and female gets married it's resourceful and it helps to sustain the system.The couple shares landspace,they share the home,they share the washer and dryer,they share the stove and refrigerator,they share the toilet and bathtub,they share the carpet,the paint on the walls,the pictures,the bed,you should get to picture by now.So marriage also helps to sustain the system.

the thing is there is no need to have such a policy becuase not all couples have children and most couple have 2.1 children . Futher some people are gay or can't have children . Also not every one livesd to pro-create .
