Some onboard footage taken. The bike is well broken in now. Still did not push it too much. Shot with Canon FS100.

  • i prefer the straight four engine the v4 engine not suond very good

  • @mosery77 It is a straight 4, but with uneven firing order. I think the only bike in the class with a V4 right now is the Aprilia.

  • @soap0688 what about Honda VFR ?

  • @zelatur I was just talking about the liter sportbike class. The VFR is almost in a class of its own :)

  • what kind of exhaust did you put on there? it sounds beast! and thats a great spot for riding. sunny days in MD are perfect for riding

  • @theHansinator This is still stock exhaust. The bike has changed a lot since this video, and I have some good footage but I haven't edited it all yet. Eventually I will put up a larger, more up to date video. The pipes I have now are the Akrapovic slip ons and the Y-pipe (with DB eaters out). There are several videos on YouTube of these pipes...I recommend checking them out :)

  • What is it with people making comments about the guys riding. If you have nothing nice to say then say nothing is what i was taught. Anyways, great sounding bike mate, it looks like you are having a real blast on it. Please keep sharing the vids, some of us are grateful.

  • Very Nice Bike id buy the Yam if i could afford it..As for now i have a GSXR 1000 K2 which i bought new..when i ran that in didnt go over 5000rpm for 500miles then stuck to 8000rpm for another 500miles..I got told so many differant things to run a Bike in,that i did it my own way.! • @and17y1 the engine configuration is still an inline ("straight") four, but the crankshaft is rotated with uneven firing order. That's all :p

  • dude you are just having so much fun with that nice bike, what a great view wow

  • @soap0688 hey man i red a lot about the new angine of the R1 after year 2009 and yamaha change the advantage of the connecting rods that what makes the crazy engine with a sound like a V4 engine or V2, and its makes the engine with a lot more Torque in very high speed. enjoy your beautiful R1.

  • i get a feeling there isnt enough power for that engine sounds produced. need repairs is it?

    neways, b safe.
