all we need is the forensic testing of this letter.
-
i am talking of Jamgon Khontrol.
-
he died in a tragic car accident, wanted to try this brand new BMW or was it an Audi. Car accidents in those hilly ares in India is common, there is one death occuring every 4 minutes.
-
A little too tabloid for a documentary, isnt it? More shocking shots and emotional music than hard facts. Especially considering all the intrigues neither side denies.
-
Here it looks that Jamgon was used as a pawn - first he was informed that the letter had been found, and after in his voyage he was murded so to throw suspicions against Shamarpa.
It's a terrible thing...
But more terrible must be mental situation of person which was able to invent this idea and make such act.
Hope I'll never must say anything similar.
Greetings and Karmapa Chenno for those who've ridden this.

I fully agree with wildbad,
more than that,
I'll share with the watchners my own impression, that the violent and criminal background is very clearly seen in Tai Situ person and his Co-workers.
I don't afraid use here word 'criminal' because of countles actions like falsing the prediction letter, subornation and intimidating the clerkers as also the havyest act - murdering the great bodhisattwa - Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche.
Sharmapa is always the one who recognizes the karmapa. the violent activity of tai situpas monks later did nothing to strengthen his case and his refusal to subject the letter to modern forensic analysis does nothing to lend his choice of karmapa credibility. that the chinese also played a role in tai situpa's selection was also not mentioned in this hoolywood propaganda production. sad. the real karmapa will be know by his activity and not by propaganda. karmapa chenno

funny that a camera crew was always on hand. implying that the Sharmapa was involved in the death of one of the heart sons is a very bad mistake. also implying that Shamar rinpoche was in agreement about the letter is wrong. it was produced MUCH later.
