    the primary colors of PIGMENT are cyan, magenta, and yellow.

    If you have a pure clear magenta paint and a pure clear yellow paint you can mix both together to get a pure clear red. Same with yellow+cyan to get green and magenta+cyan=blue

    red, blue, and yellow produce a limited gamut of colors and are incapable of creating vibrant greens and violets, as well as pure cyans and magentas. blue-green and red-violet are much duller than...
