Gaddafi forces fight rebels on road to Sirte

Libyan rebels were pushing towards Sirte on Tuesday (March 29) after suffering a set back the night before when they were repelled by Gaddafi forces firing heavy weapons as they approached the town of Nawfaliyah, 120 km (75 miles) from Sirte.

@TrpleAgnt2011 Also France,owns 40% of the world's water wealth& Gaddafi found the biggest&most pure water deposits&used it to green Libya to feed Africa.Hence he built the worlds largest man made aquatic system! So France had another strong reason to want Gaddafi out! It was France that petitioned the UN the most to put up the no-fly zone, made the most bombing runs&targeted Gaddafi,ignoring UN orders not to go after Gaddafi,nor to force regime change,nor to put boots on the ground.
