grew up in indianapolis thats too much snow for there now up here in michigan
this snow is normal or more for here and I hate it nice for a day to look at but thats all

I was a kid there then. Loved how school was closed for weeks! My brother and I built huge snow forts and tunnels. Couldn't understand why the parents were less enamored of the snow (all that shoveling, I guess...plus the fact that my dad's car spent some time in a ditch...)

I live by MGH and I remember that time. I also remember the winds where strong during times to, Plus for the thought of not knowing why in this weather the kids still had to go to school yet funny thing is some businesses was closed including the school administration building. Sad for the Kids

I lived in Marion until 1980. The blizzard in 1978 was the worst winter weather I ever experienced.
