Shania Twain & Alison Krauss + Union Station - Forever and for Always 2004 Live stereo widescreen

"Forever and for Always" is originally a single and track from the 2002 album, "Up", by Shania Twain. The album was released on the Mercury-Nashville label and was produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange and Simon& Diamond Duggal. A huge worldwide success, "Up!" is RIAA diamond certified in the U.S. and CRIA diamond certified in Canada.
"Up!" was written by Robert John "Mutt" Lange and Shania Twain and was released as a single on Mercury Nashville Records. Peak chart positions for the single include: #20 on the Billboard Hot 100, #4 on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, #1 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart, #6 on the UK and the Irish Singles Charts and #5 on the Canadian Singles Chart.
This live concert version of "Forever and for Always" is taken from a U.S. television special from November 2003. The special concert was a promotion for Twain's album "Up" and features Alison Krauss and Union Station in an "in-the-round" performance reminiscent of Elvis Presley's 1968 Comeback Special, right down to Twain's black leather attire. The concert was directed by Beth McCarthy Miller.
The concert, "Shania Twain: Up! Close and Personal" is available on DVD from Mercury Nashville (UMG) and includes bonus footage and extras.
