Recorded with The Eric Burdon Band during the "Mirage project" 1973/74, with themes of politic, vietnam, war, love, hate and humanity. A few takes were released in the very late 90s, then in 2006 the CD "Wild & Wicked" featured a lot of takes from the Mirage sessions. And in 2008, Universal/Polydor released a CD called "Mirage" with a few more unreleased takes. The "well-known" rest of the sessions are available on bootlegs.

This song is featured on "Live at the Roxy" as a live track, but with the title "First Sight".

If anyone wants to hear more, just type in "Eric Burdon Mirage" on Youtube and if you can't get enough of the recordings, you can also mail me, I have a few more....live, studio, both....Enjoy!!

  • well, it´s not my fav of Eric. I´ve listened to this two times - it´s very different and impressive. One step of his long musiclife and it belongs to my playlist!

Thanks again for rarities you are uploading.

  • It's like buried treasure, a studio session, with Aalon Butler on lead guitar. Great vocals, good audio quality. 5 stars !
