Eric Burdon - She Stole my Heart Away (1974)

Recorded with The Eric Burdon Band during the "Mirage project" 1973/74, with themes of politic, vietnam, war, love, hate and humanity. A few takes were released in the very late 90s, then in 2006 the CD "Wild & Wicked" featured a lot of takes from the Mirage sessions. And in 2008, Universal/Polydor released a CD called "Mirage" with a few more unreleased takes. The "well-known" rest of the sessions are available on bootlegs.

This song is featured on "Live at the Roxy" as a live track, but with the title "First Sight".

well, it´s not my fav of Eric. I´ve listened to this two times - it´s very different and impressive. One step of his long musiclife and it belongs to my playlist!
