This video illustrates one of the many processes that we can perform here at McAllister Industries. We attached a thermocouple to a large piece of stainless steel, heated the steel in the furnace at 1950 degrees Fahrenheit and then cooled the part off in a tub of water. Watch the video to see how it's done!

  • hahahaha! hillbilly quenching always makes me laugh! love the pole drop! is OSHA aware of your quenching method?

  • to see how its not done! This is crazy......Time at Temperature is critical. I like how long it took to quench and then their "way" of racking....hahaha the part probably came out looking like a banana from all the distortion.......definitely hillbilly.
