  • Nice video, but sorry to say, I see these aircraft everyday in Antigua, and this is definitely a piston engined aircraft. The BN-2T is the turboprop version

  • @nitestrike1000 It might be used IRL - BUT...In the video I used the BN-2B Flight 1 aircraft with a Winair paint. But i've never even been anywhere close to one of these aircraft nor Have I studied them, so i'm sure you're correct - But in this video the BN-2B was used and it was by FLight 1

  • @surfman62495 Yes, I have the flight1 model too. I have flown in one owned by Carib Aviation, from Antigua to Barbuda in real life and this aircraft is amazing in its stol capabilities. Winair took over the route with Twinotters after Carib stopped operating there and now the route is serviced by SVG Air using Islanders again.

Have you tried this route? If you have'nt, try it. You'll like it! Would love to see more videos from you! I'll sub :)

  • @nitestrike1000 Sure thing, If you could give me the ICAO's of the airports in the flight plan, I'd love to do it!

  • @surfman62495 TAPA for Antigua and CODR for barbuda.:)

  • @nitestrike1000 Thank you!

  • @surfman62495 You need to do more research on that! see the piston engines there is a bn2T the T is for Turbine like nitestrike1000 said. Maybe you changed the engines inside the simulator, but those engines modeled there are with out a doubt piston!

  • @pianomansas BN-2B Islander II was used in the making of the film - They have twin Allison 250-B17C turboprop engines

  • @surfman62495 No those engines are Lycoming IO 540's that can be fuel injected but definitely NOT turbo Prop! I Don't know what your talking about.

  • @pianomansas The BN-2B is a turbo prop..thats what's in the video.
