  • well done ref, dont take that crap. No ref should.

  • What the video doesn't show and what started this is the coach making snide comments to the Asst Ref on his sideline. The Asst Ref was a young kid and the coach was trying to intimidate them.

  • The coach is a fool. Someone teach the referee ask tell remove.

  • Way to go coach how about setting a good example for the kids? Its not like you are a pro manager, its for KIDS! Grow up!

  • soccer is gay as shit anyway hahaa

  • imagine that, a parent ruining a kids' game - say it isn't so

  • @supermustang1 ur a fag... fucking ass hole.

  • @CSFLChampion and how often do we go unnoticed?

  • @Stinger49 the best refs are not noticed....nuff said

  • @jakobus615 I will NOT allowed a coach, or anybody for that matter, to try and insult or intimidate a youth referee, especially if they are my AR's. If a referee is not doing a good job, it is my job to correct them, not the coach or parent and will take care of it after the game or at halftime. I say this to all coaches who get on referees: You become a better team by winning. Same as referees, you dont get better by having great games.

  • @CSFLChampion You will find that all refs have different styles. Indeed we all have different techniques. Some refs are take a "hard" approach to the games because it works for them. Some of us break alot easier than others. I will personally will NOT stand for any coach or parent who tries to get on a youth referee. We are scarce as it is and we cant afford people scaring them off when they are young and trying to improve their refereeing skills.

  • @CSFLChampion Heh. Well, I've never seen a referee change their mind when confronted by a foul-mouthed coach. I have, however, seen many coaches who take a referee class and taken on the task of refereeing a match change their entire outlook on referees, and how difficult it actually is...

And just FYI, no AYSO referees are paid. Only USSF-affiliated referees are paid. AYSO is an all-volunteer organization.
