Every morning the works train this time pulled by a Hornby 2P 4-4-0 Midland compound makes its way from Hollyoak to Laura Gardens, we also see a short pickup goods pulled by an Hornby tender drive 0-6-0 Dean Goods. Some shots of the town of Hollyoak are included. Does the Driver of the Dean Goods actually wave to the camera in this clip or is it just an optical illusion - YOU decide !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Do you do stopping passenger trains when you play with your layout? In other words do you run your layout to British Practice sometimes or do you just always run around the track?

  • @ChimpManZ1264 Trains definitely do stop at the stations but for the purpose of filming and at different locations on the layout the trains usually just run nonstop

    thanks for watching

  • how big is your layout i've only an 8x4 and ur's looks the same but u have a lot on it. thanks, mark.

  • Its in what was the double garage 6mx6m

the layout is 3 large tables in a u shape formation with the ability to run one train round the whole layout and a single train on each of the two tables thus making three trains running at any one time if required

    thanks for watching

  • the first train that is running is really nice. i will try to get one for my layout but i will have to get it of ebay

  • My layout is tiny 00 gauge :( 6X4 but if I get more space I might be able to get more hopefully :D

  • Very impressed with your layout.....yes he did wave, by the way......STRANGE!!!!!

  • I was able to get a hornby dean goods in GWR livery. I find the brunswick green much more appropriate personally than the boring black of br.
