Jason does a fantastic save after being hit from behind by Jonathan Adam as they enter Paddock Hill Bend at nearly 100 MPH.
Jonathan was subsequently given a four second penalty which handed Jason the win.

  • @DanDaMan253 Thanks man. I wasn't picking sides. Just saying that it was a poor drive into the turn. That usually causes contact. Either way, a brilliant save. Full opposite lock and powering down in a FWD takes a special kind of balls. Cheers to the man for the save regardless of fault. Another example of why BTCC is some of the best racing on the planet.

  • @SerdaJ2 +1 great point, I think I took your comment as slagging off JP and saying his fault, great explanation, clears it up!

  • @DanDaMan253 I didn't say the locked up rears directly created the spin. However locking up the rears into a turn unbalances the car not too mention it probably means he was either braking too hard and/or too late which would precipitate the Bimmer to make contact with his rear. The impact coupled with the poor braking and unstable rear end of the Chevy (especially being free spinning rear wheels in a FWD) created the spin all together.

  • @SerdaJ2 I don't see how the locking up caused him to lose the rear, he was in a perfect straight line even with the locking, but as soon as the BMW touched him, it was game over, rear spun round, nothing to do with the locking.

  • it's plato, he deserves it

  • You've obviously never seen a front wheel drive race car going 'round a corner..

  • @Sooprazn If you watch at 0:55 you'll see the Chevy driver locked up the tires so it was his fault.

  • Perfect Drift!! :D

  • seen some amazing saves on the first corner

  • @Imreadingthisaloud lol! too true. Funny how he was quiet in '09 when his car was quick in a straight line, yet this year when the Hondas are he has moaned like a little girl, which is an insult to little girls.
