the only ones that wore kilts in the old times were the highlanders, the lowlanders wore pants made of wool, the tartan only became an item of distinction after queen elizabeth the first made popular by wearing her own version, before that it was just a dress garment.

My only regret is that I wish I had known about the Irish Pub Fest a month ago, so that I could have been there to see this band play. I'm looking forward to seeing you at the Black Rose this Saturday.

All most everyone in the Celtic Regions wore kilts at one time or another. Its just the Scotts who were the most serious and made their own Clan Tartans. If you look closely, none of the kilts these guys are wearing are very traditional... Beltloops in a kilt??? Anyways, modern day kilts are simply a statement by the wearer... and these boys are saying, "We play some Kick-@s* Celtic Rock!" Some call their type of music "Kilt-Rock" others simply "Celtic Rock." Did You like the music???
