This is a 118 lb. squat snatch and it was a PR for me, moments after getting a PR with 108 lbs. I'm new to the Olympic lifts and it has been frustrating but today was good. Constructive comments please - I'm 52 years old - thanks!

  • bravo!

  • good form. keep it going but to help you snatch it off the floor try doing snatch/clean pulls. they will work on your vertical explosion off the ground.

  • great technique

  • nice stuff man. but on the constructive side, just try to ensure your shins are vertical, this way the bar can move straight up and you don't loose force moving the bar out.

  • Nice song haha lowridaa

  • if you bend your arms to soon you lose your power. Think of steel ropes all the way through your pull. Nicely done keep at it.

  • still strong at 52!!! awesome...

  • like others have said, arch your back so it's already flexing when you lift. Otherwise great job!

  • did you build that weightlifting platform? If so nice job - either way, share some info on it

  • very nice, haha I'm half that age and that's right around my PR
