i don't think thats true... he kept everything he learned but his focus became corrupted by money and bad influence... Cus D'amato instilled in him that he could be the greatest.... what Don king ... Cayton and Jacobs brought to the table was money... and that after Cus D'amatos death followed him right through to the end of his career where he was still fighting the likes of williams and Mc bride for $20 milliion dollar purses proved true after Cus d'amatos death it was all money not glory.

I love in the begining of this part how Steve Lott is describing Cus and Mike's unique methods in boxing. Very interesting, it'[s not everyday you hear knowledge like that.

Just read that his 4 year old daughter died in 2009 and that he's still paying to Robin Givens. In 2005 he said that his whole life was a complete waste. :-(

Damn i feel sad. The same sadness i feel about Joe Louis. Max Schmeling payed the funderal of Joe, who got robbed by IRS.
