Davidians could have been all insane, following blindly some freak. Or they could have been just a strange harmless version of Christianity.
I tend to believe it's the first one, but we'll never know, because the US government decided to storm in with the military help and slaughter those people. It's not the first time that happened. It bewilders me when some Americans accuse others of being crazy for believing something so obvious, when entire nations have already disappeared in the past.

Waco:Rules of Engagement is the best documentary of this. After all those woman & children died, the FBI raised there flag in victory at mount Carmel when they should of dropped to their knees a begged God for forgiveness.

Their fates were sealed long before the ATF arrived, for I have seen this wretched script acted out before. When you have an "unfalsifiable" leader and people who are willing to follow the dear leader off the cliff, then the ending basically writes itself. The ATF was the method of their destruction, however it could have been any outside entity which challenged the leaders authority. Do not confuse "method" of destruction with "cause" of destruction.

Personally i dunno what happened on the inside of that compound, I dont know if there was any alleged "abuse" goin on. However do i think that this was an attempt by a president(clinton) to circumvent the 2nd amendmant and law abiding gun owners. I truely think the use of power was abused by Janet Reno and Bill Clinton. Hillary is proof of that.
