A little demo for all the people who e-mailed me/commented after my last video. I cue one of my favorite childhood poems -- subtitled, of course.

Here you can see where the rhyming/phonemes become visually apparent, which is just one reason why cueing is so neat: it's language at the phonemic level, not the superficial morphological level.

  • Do jabberwocky! I bet it would be fun!

  • hi -- just discovered your cueing vlogs. very interesting and made me want to understand cueing better! (I keep wanting to spell it "cuing"). interesting that from your view as a native cuer, you say that morphology is "superficial" -- for cueing, I'm assuming. once kids get phonemic awareness cueing, presumjably there are patterns in cueing that resemble the morphology too?

  • I am thinking about teaching CS to my hearing but non verbal toddler with autism. What would you suggest as the best first place to start?

  • This is so cute. You gave me a great idea for my CS classes. I have students create lesson plans, but I might have them put them online. We might as well share them!
