I don't get it why there is so much opposition in the whole world to two people of the same sex wanting to marry.They love each other and want to make that a public commitment.

We settled this over here in the Netherlands a decade ago and guess what? The world didn't end.....

Did you even watch the video? These people are in love. They have families. They've been together for longer than most heterosexual couples. Why does anything else matter?

Why would God cause someone to love someone if he didn't want them to get married?

I'm not knocking your religion or your beliefs. I'm just asking you to think.

The problem is many people are convinced of 4 things: 1) god says being gay is a sin. 2) god must always be obeyed. 3) god wants them to force everybody to believe what he says. 4) god holds anybody who helps a sinner equally as guilty. As such, they are against gay marriage for selfish reasons. They only care about not going to Hell. They then lie to themselves and everybody else by saying they're only helping you to stop sinning and love god, as they want you to love god.

a lot of things confuse children.... like divorce, and new mommy's and daddy's. We teach them tolerance, that not all families are the same. Some have single mom's or dad's, some have more than one mom and dad due to divorce, and some have two mom's and two dads. It is simple really. If marriage is so scared between a man and a woman, then why aren't those that call it a scared bond trying to abolish divorce, that is what truly damages children.

I don't support gay marriage because it is unnatural. Straight marriage is also unnatural, and should be abolished!

This video is truly inspirational. I do not understand why people are not allowed to get married. I have two moms and I am not any weirder or more different than anybody else. Hopefully this law will be able to change soon.

I was brought up by man and woman too, and it wasn't a good childhood for me.

What goes on behind closed doors of two adults is no one's business even a childs. that child will see the love of any parent for the other parent, and that is a good thing. love and communication is key in any relationship.

A child needs love, understanding, patience, compromise, guidance and shelter...

A same sex couple isn't capable of this? There are some amazing kids that turn into amazing adults that were raised by same sex couples. just as there are of heterosexual couples..... I am just wonder what is your reasoning for this.
