@sepqb16 for sure... Ive flipped my go kart tons of times and not once did my helmet do that... Its important to take time and make sure you put all your gear on properly and look for wear on any of the straps...

A helmet should never do that, he must of not had it strapped on right or a faulty strap.

A helmet doesn't do much good when it comes off while you are flipping. I hope he fixed that.

I was standing in the infield probably 50 ft from where he landed. notice him pull his helmet back on after the car is done moving? scary flip, Jayme is lucky!
