  • Love these videos, they are few and far between. I recently built my own lathe and spend the working day wishing I was stood in front of it, chisel in hand. Keep up the great work. Oh and I've just subscribed :D

  • Do you forge your turning tools? If not what brand are they?

  • I forge some, others are shop bought. I also use second hand markets etc. The brands are Stanley, Crown and Henry Taylor, but that is not that important The size of the tools are more important to me, a 1 roughing out gouge, 2 straight gouge and a ½ skew chisel that's mainly what I use.

  • I hardly ever see anyone pull real shavings on a lathe. Beautiful product. Very nice job.
