We need to reclaim this incredibly beautiful ceremony as part of the Catholic Way. It was foolish to do away with it in the name of modernity and utilitarian blandness. There's nothing wrong with wearing a crown--all the Eastern and Orthodox bishops wear crows. The papal crown is a symbol of the Holy See. Bring back Catholic tradition and please undo what Modernity has created.

It has been far too long since seeing the best the Catholic Church has to offer....Restoration of the ceremonial that as in haste disregarded should be part of reclaiming our Catholic history..It was a beautiful time in the Church, not without problems but far better off than today..

Such a glorious ceremy which needs to be returned! the sedia gestoria and the papal tiaras are the most beautiful papal vesments ever and waht they stand for is even more beautiful!

Some regarded him as a good Pope, its true. But this good Pope brought divisions , confusions & distractions in the Roman Catholic Church. . .too bad for Church.Too much sadness brought by the 2nd Vatican council . . .
