  • Couple it with a boiler, steam engine, and car alternator. If you do it right, you can power a car ac from it (maybe 30% more surface area). goodluck, nice build!

  • I think you've had a glims on my car... Boiler+steam engine won't fit in a RENAULT 5 GTL 1990.. LOL... Nice idea though :)

  • You don't have to 'clean' it... just gently take off the dust using a piece of flanel. These stickers are highly sensitive to scratches. Once you scratched it - reflectance will never be the same.

  • What do you clean it with?

  • What do you clean itwith?

  • At 1KW per sq metre you will need a large area to power a car!!!!

  • Thankyou very much

  • one more thing, in case you will deside to buy these stickers - make sure you remove both layers:

    1. the sticky layer, beneith which is the glued area.

    2. the protective film beneith which is the highly polished mirror surface (~95% reflectance)

  • hi,

i covered the dish using 15x15mm flexible mirrored stickers i bought in ebay (it goes there under "bathroom mirror stickers " or something like that..)10$ for 30 of those including shipping.

P.S. the dish is a 3D shape and the stickers are 2D. in order to avoid diffraction and comma, it is best to split each by 4 or 9 or 16 so that the stickers take a more exact shape of paraboloid/elipsoid .
