we dont need no more air controller and pilot in the future, maybe in the next 30 years, this system is developped right now in USA. would you feel in security without pilot and air controller?

Im not sure if when you are telling people your bf is a ATC guy if you are trying to show off or something ? I dont want to get the wrong idea here and cause anger ....but thats the feeling im getting. ATC can be great, but for a lot of people it sure as hell aint worth the pay. Your health slowly degrade away. You can always make more money, but you can never make more time. Hope he has life insurance and his will up to date.

That is the only disadvantage of it,unfortunately.

My boyfriend is an Air Traffic Controller. He's 27 and makes 107K a year. In 2012 he gets a raise and will be pulling in just under 120K (before taxes). Great pay, great benefits but SHITTY schedule, mandatory holiday shifts and stressful as all hell.
Didn't realise Robin Williams was an air traffic controller!
