my version of the Bedini Monopole SSG with most of the axle slack taken up, so I call it a silent run. Max revs on 24.7V dc is 3630rpm. I usually run this at 12V for charging batts with revs at 2300. You need to multiply the reading by 10 to get actual rpm's. The crunching noise at 6seconds is ball collision inside the bearing, due to me cleaning out the grease for better running no doubt (added 3 drops of light compressor oil)

  • Greetings from Oregon! I made a rotor for my SSG circuit with six mags around. Unfortunately the first mag I installed was facing out toward the coil. Question ... Does it matter which magnetic pole faces the coil? I noticed several people use north. Should I change it? THANKS for any info! Scooterscottii

  • Hiya, play it safe and make them all north facing the coil, it was in the original design by John Bedini
