This week is Red Week Austin, the city's biggest AIDS and HIV event. Micah King, communications director for AIDS Services of Austin, dropped by the Chronicle offices to talk on-camera about the need for continuing AIDS awareness and why he'd like you to break out your running shoes this Sunday.

ASA is a joke. The people who work there are irresponsible, manipulative and incapable of doing their jobs. Most places like ASA should be shut down. The money used to fund these places is wasted on over paying people who do nothing but make excuses and complain about how busy they are. These peoples jobs are no less mechanical than working at Taco Bell and they are paid like they do something special. The only thiing available fo AIDS patients are meds. The rest is just bullshit.
