@mumandtwins gee and I remember when they built that building and did it all up (and added the speed humps too) many years ago now, pity it's not a place worth going too, just somewhere for the cops to defect cars or do they even bother to frequent the beaches still?
-
@ShesThe1yup there is no where near the amount of sand that there used to be at the beach. a lot of changes since the Marina was built, namely loss of sand even by the caravan park used to be a nice bit of sand, it has worn down to rocks there now. and of course the seaweed. build up. who wants to go to a beach where there is more seaweed on the beach than sand
-
@mumandtwins yea and even that has run down somewhat :)
-
@ShesThe1yup you would also be very hard pressed to find a decent amount of sand at the beach, I head to Point Lowly at least my kids don't have to wrestle with seaweed there
-
@ShesThe1yup yes the dolphin and her pup have been hanging around the marina for years, she only comes in when the boats come in and she looks for a free feed. I have been down there numerous occassions and she has never shown up :(

Lucy no you love Whyalla for the Basketball!!!!

dislike the seaweed at the beach Like the dolphins, fishing ok if you are into that, dislike swimming in the marina cos we deserve an outdoor swimming centre like we used to have, like the scenery provided camera is pointed in right direction (out to sea), half the playgrounds in Whyalla are unsafe,Ada Ryan Gardens is nice but no duckpond thanks to Vandals, ALL of the parklands YEAH RIGHT, only 2, New public library a waste of ratepayers money, sports is always good, if afford it Head East ppl
