Good Morning - upon this Guru-Vaara morning IST.....

Here - as it snows outside in the dark windy night - I have sung for our Raayaru - as softly as I could - with all my heart - that classic composition of shrii guru-jagannaatha viTThala daasaru: tuugirE raayara tuugirE gurugaLa. I humbly sing out to Raayara and pray to Him - as He sits in the vrindaavana at Mantraalaya - to kindly hear my song and remember me far far away - yet, always stays near me/us in every way - watching over me/us with His most kind compassionate grace. I humbly pray for and await the opportunity to come to sing for Him at Mantraalaya and BhikShaalaya.

I have somewhat retained the original aananda-bhairavi tune, but have improvised on the spur of the moment - trying to create 'swara-saahitya' here and there as I sang.

Please kindly pardon me for inserting an additional line into a dEvaranaama. But - I am truly singing to Raayaru from my heart - and - hence, am adding my own expression of emotion here: "raayara tuugirE, raayara laaliya paaDirE, raayara tuugirO raayara laaliya paaDirO", "raayara tuugirE, raayarige laaliya paaDirE....."

I hope that you all like it. My older son is playing Guitar. My younger son was to play Cello - but, fell asleep. I am singing and simultaneously playing the Veena. I have sung as softly as possible to retain the mood of a lullaby-song. In order to fit the song within 10MB, I could only sing some of the charaNa-s. I will post a youtube or facebook video with the full song recorded in the coming days.

I welcome your comments - positive and discerning. I shall humbly strive to improve any faults/blemishes made within the music and/or lyrics.

Last time - a few of you wrote that the recording was not actually playing. I was not sure why - I myself could not reopen one of the recordings similarly. Please kindly advise me if there is any other step that I need to take when I attached the mp3 voice-file to the e-mail. Thank you....
