Track 8 of Telekon

I am the final silence.
The last electrician alive.
And they called me 'The Sparkle'.
I was the best, I worked them all.

New ways, new ways.
I dream of wires.

We opened doors by thinking.
We went to sleep by dialing 'O'.
We drove to work by proxy.
I plugged my wife in, just for show.

New ways, new ways.
I dream of wires.

So I press 'C' for 'comfort'.
I dream of wires, the old days.

New ways, new ways.
I dream of wires.

  • @Lafayettebluesman It never sucked, idiot, you're the one that sucked. By the way. blues sucks too, more than any other music.

  • @chrisnoaro1 That's OK you're entitled to your opinion, as ungracious as it may be.

  • @1RadNomad What a stupid statement. I rate all those you mention but PSB are still great. Sick of new wave fans who like to diss some artists in order to praise others.PSB were hardly 'just' pop light, not that there's anything wrong with that anyway.

  • i mean like fer sure!--i like this guy's brian and stewie song! like where is it?! like fer - sure!

  • @666prep Not that big of a deal. No other worries, no apology from you needed.

  • @superunt43 i was kidding. and most of all i was directing to some OTHER youtuber. not you. asshole.

  • @HighRiseChateau Neil Tennant a "new wave great"? He was still a journalist when new wave happened and Pet Shop Boys were just mid '80s camp pop-light. Tennant doesn't stack up at all compared to the influencial artists of electronic music like Numan, Hutter/Schneider, early Clarke, Oakey and others.

  • @CocaineMusic1984 May I offer? I noticed this man circa, need say nothing I do.

  • LOL Numan on Fear Factory? Never could imagine that. The man influenced a lot of people, and still gets no credit, it's actually sad.

  • Still prefer the Robert Palmer cover, but love this. Robert's voice is just a little better than Gary's. Saying that though I will always thank Gary for his work and his inspiration that made Fear Factory. Thanks Gary.
