Ferrari 599 SA APERTA (599 roadster) - Paris Auto Show 2010

Special Paris Auto Show 2010!

Thanks to Ferrarix that got me inside the exclusive Ferrari stand! Once inside, I managed to snap some rather decent pictures and a nice video of the new Ferrari 599 SA APERTA. First things first : it's made out of WOOD! It's not real. Not many people know this, but it's a fact, even Ferrari said so the first day they showed it. When I saw it in person and up close, I had confirmation: if you look carefully you can indeed see how it's all messed-up. But hey, they had to show something I guess!
Anyways, I personally really like this one. The two-tone is a good addition and I like those things behind each side of the seats (I wouldn't know how to call that in english, sorry lol). All in all, I think this will be a good Ferrari success, something to keep the tifosi happy. Nothing close to the GTO though. What do you think about this new Ferrari? Do you like it?

Is this model really made of wood?

@holykiller130592 Yep! Not many people know this, though, like I said. Apparently Ferrari itself told so when presenting the car before the Auto Show opened to the public (only to VIPs and press). And apparently a kid tried to sit in it, and broke the wood or something lol. That's why we can't sit in it now (I don't know if you can clearly see the sign between the two seats that says so).

Meh there are 2 things wrong with this ferrari

1 - the mirrors and A pilar is not he same color as the body

2 - i do not own it

@alexsmolik Pretty sure you were fed a line. Ferrari is not going to show off a limited edition car, but bring a model that's made of wood. Not to mention, do you have any idea how long it would take to make a full scale replica of a car like this made of wood? It would be a complete waste of time.
