Obama's Green Giveaway

President Obama spent $535 million of taxpayer stimulus money to prop up Solyndra, a solar panel company run by his political campaign contributors. Even though Department of Energy and White House staffers warned that the company's business model would never work, the loan was rushed out the door anyway. Who has been screaming for the government to do something about a so called impending energy crisis? We the People. Who has been saying fossil fuels are running out, the government has to come up with a new energy plan? We the People. Who has been saying fossil fuels are evil and should be replaced regardless of availability? We the People. We have to fix OUR corruption. Because it is the "there ought to be a law" attitude of We the People that allows corruption in government.

This ad is so full of lies.  Especially regarding streetlights in china. The actual facts are that there was a shortage of LEDs for lights from American companies so a waiver to buy those specific parts from all over Asia was granted for 6 months until American production ramped up. The street lights were made in America and used on american streets.

The lies in political ads make me sick.

While america is asleep.. This is what is really happening. We are now learning that the half billion dollar Solyndra boondoggle is small change compared to the losses that are out there. Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News reports that there are 11 more failed “green” energy companies which squandered $6.5 billion in taxpayer money. Further, it again appears that cronies and pals of Obama and Dingy Harry were first in line at the trough. America will not survive 4 more years under Obama

BTW: The 1/2 Billion loan requested under Bush was TURNED down. It was Obama who fast-tracked the loan, despite objections from staff. Maybe PolitiFact decided to leave out that incontinent fact in their article.
