@fiddlermike . why do you take such a negative tone to this strong contribution of men fighting for the same freedoms you fight for every day (assuming you are an american). not to mention, these very credible men fought in many wars here in america, dating back to the revelutionary wars before congress passed a bill for them to legally fight. please research your history and take the bitterness out of your heart. it was planted there and obviously, it was not a seed that bore a good fruit

"Buffalo Soldiers" came out hiding in Mexico or out of slavery after the War Between the States and promptly went to work for the white government, killing and robbing the Native Americans. Fuck them .

You had a lot of participation! Does your organization have a website?
Fiddler,
The Buffalo Soldiers didn't exist during the Civil War. They were started in 1866 by an act of congress. They did serve during the Mexican Revolution but that was during the early 1900's. No atrocities have ever been attributed to their service. Since there was no "BLACK" govt then or now and soldiering beats slaving, I guess they made their choice individually. Wars are started by govts. Good troops don’t opt when they don't like the politics involved. We're just riding bikes.
