Production & Transportation Facts Label-For Presentation

This video proposes the idea for a "Production & Transportation Facts" label. This label would assist in achieving the largest hurdle that must be overcome to develop a sustainable economic system: changing consumer behavior. This label is not the first of its kind. Food and drinks have a Nutrition Facts label and medical products contain a Drug Facts label.

This Productions & Transportation Facts label addresses the volume of greenhouse gas emissions per packaged good, the energy source(s) used to produce the good, the distance of transporting all of the parts of the good, the form of transportation used, the percentage of raw and recycled materials used to produce the good, and how to dispose of the good. Also, there is an overall environmental impact score (on a 1-5 scale, 1 being the lowest and the most desirable).
