@laluprasad111 Obstructing the field is OUT provided it was done intentionally by a player with the intention of either causing a batsman to be dismissed or by the batsman (like in this case) to try and prevent himself being run-out. Here, even if he had NOT stopped the ball, he couldnt have been dismissed because he was inside his crease. Ricky Ponting is just a cry-baby as he has always been!!!

@ludocrat Negative, sir!! Please check out the Video of Inzy. Inzy was way outside his crease and did NOT have to put his bat in the way whereas in THIS video, the batsman is well inside his crease and the bowler is just trying to let out his frustration on him. Thats what Ponting always did, cause he always was a sore loser!! His ego was too large for his head to keep inside!!
