Is changing the the drums pitch with key changes good practice?

@TomBritton90 Not 100% sure what you mean. But if your asking if its good practice to change a kick drums pitch then in theory no... some really strict sound engineers will only use a sample if it doesn't need pitching.
But reality of it is, that almost everyone else does it. Half of what us electronic producers do is likely "not good practice" ;-) Hopefulyl that answers your question... if not, ask again :-)

@JoeyV1985 I mean when a key change in the songs melody occurs, is it a good idea to then re pitch the drums into that scale.

@TomBritton90 Got ya! No that isn't good practice. You should pitch your kick so it sounds good through all the different notes in your song :-)
