Rick Perry sounds like a uneducated, illiterate, stuttering fool: "Don't know 'bout y'all, but we would... ah... treat him... ah... pretty ugly... yeah, that's what we'd do."

Ron Paul hits the real issue right on the head: "Ben Bernanke is not the problem! The problem is the Federal Reserve system! And it needs to be shut down!"

This is just one more example of how Ron Paul focuses on the PROBLEM while everyone else focuses on the SYMPTOMS of the problem.

"Our government rests upon religion. It is from that source that we derive our reverence for truth and justice, for equality and liberality, and for the rights of mankind. Unless the people believe in these principles they cannot believe in our government. There are only two main theories of government in our world. One rests on righteousness and the other on force. One appeals to reason, and the other appeals to the sword. One is exemplified in the republic, the other is represented by despotism. The government of a country never gets ahead of the religion of a country. There is no way by which we can substitute the authority of law for the virtue of man. Of course we endeavor to restrain the vicious, and furnish a fair degree of security and protection by legislation and police control, but the real reform which society in these days is seeking will come as a result of our religious convictions, or they will not come at all. Peace, justice, humanity, charity—these cannot be legislated into being. They are the result of divine grace."
— Calvin Coolidge (30th U.S. President)

"We do not need more intellectual power; we need more moral power. We do not need more knowledge; we need more character. We do not need more government; we need more culture. We do not need more law; we need more religion. We do not need more of the things that are seen; we need more of the things that are unseen. It is on that side of life that it is desirable to put the emphasis at the present time. If that side be strengthened, the other side will take care of itself."
— Calvin Coolidge (30th U.S. President)

"America has but one main problem—the character of the men and women it shall produce."
— Calvin Coolidge (30th U.S. President)

  • I'd try to educate him.

    Best reply ever!

  • Newt on Ben Bernanke - "I will fire him tomorrow. I think he’s been the most inflationary, dangerous & power-centered chairman of the Fed in the history of the Fed.” I would also describe OBAMA the same way.

  • You don't need the media, seriously. Your truthfulness and frankness will get you the White House.

  • @85rohitrocks Maybe more people around the world should start speaking up and maybe these morons will wake up. They all have been conditioned to believe ron paul will take this country backwards.

  • If you are listed with the GOP ... PLEASE ... vote for Ron Paul. He is the only decent candidate available to represent you. He is honest, knowledgeable, intelligent, holds high moral and integrity. What else do you want from a candidate? Again, PLEASE vote for Ron Paul.

  • @glic7236 I am not American, but I follow World politics very closely. I really hope that the American people elect Ron Paul in as the President of the United States. It will be good not only for the US but also for the rest of the world. He is the only hope, the only man, the US can count on in today's hopelessly dismal situation.

    Goodluck!

  • @glic7236 Obviously. The Fed even existed under the gold standard for a good 50 years. The Fed was originally designed to end panics (ie. recessions). Recessions are a natural part of any economy. It's something in human nature. People just want easy solutions.

  • I'm voting for Ron Paul too!

However, I think all this Fed stuff is overblown. Wikipedia has a good article listing all US recessions. Seems recessions were just as common as before the Fed even existed.

  • Ron Paul on Rick Perry "whats a Rick Perry?" lol thats the message I got Ron Paul 2012!!

  • I am voting for Ron Paul......
