Eco Factory presents Mills 50 Mainstreet's "The Vibe," a promotional event intended to get the attention of local Orlando residents and drum up support for the revitalization project headed by the non-profit Mills 50 Mainstreet organization.

The intersection located near downtown Orlando is made up of the cross streets Mills and Highway 50 is a core corridor through the city of Orlando and has been slated for a major facelift. Overseeing the revitalization project, the Mills 50 Mainstreet organization is encouraging people to volunteer to help create a cleaner, greener and more elegant Mills-50 intersection that will offer family-oriented nightlife, walkable sidewalks and even more fun places to shop and eat than are already in place.

Currently, one of the brightest features that the Mills 50 Mainstreet area brings to the city of Orlando is its rich, cultural diversity. Representing a number of Asian communities, including Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese, the greater Mills 50 Mainstreet area also includes a Gay and Lesbian community, talented artists from a myriad of different artistic backgrounds, plus great coffee shops, tea houses, restaurants, bars, and more.

One of the nearby streets, Thorton Avenue, offers a very dynamic walkable row of shops and yoga, spiritual organizations. This street, too, stands to benefit from the Mills 50 Mainstreet revitalization project.

Moving from the core of the district to the surrounding neighborhoods reveals marvelous homes with quaint brick covered streets and towering, curved oak trees. The residents living in these neighborhoods are certain to benefit from the Mills 50 Mainstreet project by enjoying higher real estate values and fun places for families to eat and shop without ever having to get into their cars.

The project will help Orlando on its path to become a greener and more livable city and all the project needs is more sponsors and volunteers. Learn more about the Mills 50 Mainstreet project by visiting www.Mills50.org today!
