  • Maybe you want to crack open a physics book because that Styrofoam cover does alot. The plastic cover not so much, it's there to protect the foam and put some color to the helmet but in an actual crash the Styrofoam absorbs and redistributes the force from a collision so that your brain pan isn't receiving all of the force in one area.

  • you should have stated how to pick the right size.

  • i slide once and i was not wearing a helmet..but even if i was wearing one i would not help..it was my cheek that hit the asphalt..now im thinking of wearing a full face helmet while bike commuting

  • thank you, you probably just saved a life.

  • Your bike is shit if the tire is 3/4 of a inch and I run over glass everyday and my tire has never popped

  • @benpie12 but what do you do when the side of the road is gravel and your bike tire is only 3/4 of an inch thick?

  • that why u dumb fucks should ride on the side of the road not in it

  • this guy is so hilarious. his dry humor could rival bill murray. "or brain injury which in some ways is worse than death."

    so funny.

  • The bike helmets look terrible. Wish I could find one I liked. I do like the rock climbing helmets better.

  • What...?! I've seen someone fall off their bike and go headlong into a newspaper stand. They walked away (if I recall they did manage to break their nose on the ground) but there was an absolutely ginormous dent in the side of the newspaper stand very close to where it was bolted into the ground. There's no way there wouldn't have been serious head injuries without that helmet.
