Sincerely, no offense to the guy. This is just so lifeless, impersonal and plastic... opposite of an intimate learning atmosphere. Seems like kids are being made captive not by the sincere charisma of the actors, just the stimulation of barked delivery and contrived expression.

Am I the only one who thinks the actor playing Chris is awful? This looking like a casting tape or rejected pilot or something.
I'm half way through the Sesame book "Street Gang" right now, where Jon Stone's casting and production method/reasoning is explained. A pretty sound vision, which made the communication between muppets and real people seamless. This gy's delivery is totally antithetical to that vision's aims.
