Wellllll, I would say its the MIS education system. I was in High School before I was aware that there were black folks in Latin America, Russia and other places... seriously!! if it had not been for some stories I read in Essence Magazine about the Castanos in Mexico, I would have believed my stupid HS teacher when he said there were "No black people in Mexico".. our parent's education was probably even more white washed. Media doesnt' cover intelligence only the circus element.
