Jeremy Brett though difficult to believe with such a sexy drawl couldn't pronounce the letter R he had a speech impediment and had training and an op on his tongue ligament to cure this he was very afraid that the mispronouncing of R's would return so thats why he seem to announce it more bless him

Normal human being? Sherlock Holmes?! Never!
-
@NGC6144 and right before that he slaps Hudson with the letter
-
YES EACH OF HIS WORDS R SEEMS TO BE IN NEW STYLE
-
*Tips top hat with cane behind back*...James Bond would be jealous of Jeremy Brett's suavity.

@CliffTheMeerkat I do too, Edward Hardwicke was perfect as Watson for me, though the first, David Burke, was also brilliant, with his Watson. =)
-
(this being the later watson, obviously)
-
Personally, I prefer the later watson, though I seem to be in the minority. Brett is mesmirising in this episode.

This is no time to stick at trifles! Genius!!!!!
LOL 1:28 "He writes (Mycroft) like a drunken crab. You better read it. Doctors are more used to hieroglyphics than normal human beings."

"Mrs Hudson you're hideously in the way"
I love the way that Brett's Holmes is just so bloody rude.
