I'm finding it hard to type during this solo and the drums are thunderously brilliant as well, Johnny's mini supergroup made a lasting masterpiece with this album.

@AbrahamVanHasselhoff Ditto that. Nicely said.

I believe those great drums are by none other than Ginger Baker, who played on half of this album

A standout track on, like most PIL's output, Metal Box excepted, a pretty mixed affair. Lydon had defo got his muse back here though. I will never tire of this track, and the guitar solo is just a work of pure genius. And, yes, the drums are pure controlled aggression.And Lydon's vocals are pure Lydon at his post PistOls best.

@AbrahamVanHasselhoff I've been saying that since the day I bout this tape.The solo is UNTOUCHABLE !!!!!!!

Now you know where DLR got his intro to SkyScraper.

Oh, and I just remembered his solos on 'Fishing' as well, particularly at the end. Flooring.

Vai is just f****** AMAZING on this album. So lyrical - still blows me away. Very few can touch phrasing like that.

Check out Robert Fripp's solo on Brian Eno's "Baby's on fire".

Easily one of the best releases of the 1980s. And don't even get me started on the junk that passes for "music" today.
At 5:40 begins the finest electric guitar solo ever recorded. I cannot think of another as jaw dropping and inspiring as this one. No one living or dead can touch Vai's skill.
