I definitely could not watch YYH subbed. Dub all the way, for this one...

It's not a BAD thing, really, I'm just too used to the voice belonging to someone else...

Yeah. FUNimation did an amazing job dubbing YYH. Their script was so crisp, snappy, and witty.

Though I wish they had translated the Japanese script to English a little more accurately... But then that's just me.

I bought this manga purely so I could read this for myself a few weeks ago. I'm glad I did, because I really don't think I can watch this whole thing through. I'm only a couple minutes in and I'm already having issues. Every time Kurama talks my brain screams SAILOR URANUS and doesn't let me think anything else. (Because I'm a loser who has recently watched through a lot of the subbed episodes of Sailor Moon...and Haruka's my favorite character.) But it's just too weird for me to listen to...

I can't blame you for hearing Haruka instead of Kurama here. Ogata Megumi was just starting out as a voice actress when she voiced both characters. (Just sharing with everyone: Kurama was her voice acting debut character. Another piece of trivia: The creators of "Yu Yu Hakusho" and "Sailor Moon" married each other, right? Guess who introduced them? Who else but their common Kurama-Haruka voice actress! XD)

someone PLEASE tell me.....does anyone else thing that Hiei's VA sounds like the VA who plays Zoro in One Piece???

Dunno about that, but another character in "Yu Yu Hakusho" and "One Piece" were played by the same voice actress: Koenma and Monkey D. Luffy, both by Tanaka Mayumi. ^-^

I know about a billion people have already said this but...Kurama and Hiei's voices are SOOO SEXY!!! :D Why the hell couldn't they put this in the anime,or better why not finish it?

I agree. Kurama's Japanese voice is "sweet" to me, too. ^-^ He sounds gentle, yet he can still give a FIERCE battle cry in the heat of a fight. It fits his character.

Maybe, just maybe, they intended to make an OVA of this bonus chapter. (In fact, that may have been why they VOICED it!) Too bad they didn't get to draw or animate it anymore...

I think Maya is look like a Naive girl and Kurama  has a very sweet voice in Japanese but I like it XD

if not have it in the series why not as an OVA :) that would be amazing!
