I believe you were referring to where the one out of bound car tried to return to the track and all the sudden two more cars collide. It's a rare occassion and I took advantage of it. A win is a win, though.
I would recommend you to use tuned Clio for the event. For the GT LM try extend the 6th gear and final drive so that you have max speed over 200 mph (but not too much over. 210 max) and adjust the rest accordingly. And draft as much as you can!

ford gt lm is not the best car for this event. tuned corvette is better.
I lost my original setting for this video since I used GT LM in quite a few S-10 videos. You can try this:
WT=lowest
HP=whatever makes 700 pts
brake=10/10
final drive=4.7
Traction=off
angle=50
abs=1
rest is stock.
